A British base jumper has died after his parachute failed to open during a stunt in Thailand, according to reports.<\/p>\n
The man has been named by a number of news outlets as Nathy Odinson.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old from Cambridgeshire is said to have jumped from a 29-storey building in the coastal resort of Pattaya on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
According to the Daily Mirror, police lieutenant Kamolporn Nadee, deputy inspector of Investigations at the Bang Lamung district police station, said: “The parachute that the deceased used to jump malfunctioned and was not centred as expected.<\/p>\n
“Forensics officers are investigating the case further. They are examining the parachute.”<\/p>\n
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Thailand<\/strong>.”<\/p>\n Mr Odinson reportedly hit a tree before falling to the ground.<\/p>\n Photos from the scene showed what appeared to be a blue parachute on the pavement next to a protective helmet.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0635\u062f\u0631<\/a>
